Frequently Asked Questions
The King's Academy is a Christ-centered school, which is the first of our core values.
澳门hg0088皇冠what that means is all school programs and curricula are grounded in a biblical worldview, affirming that true education recognizes god as the supreme source of all truth, knowledge, and wisdom. furthermore, faculty and staff are all christian role models who have been called to ministry and have a love for young people.
While some students who come to The King’s Academy are not Christians or are not from Christian families, TKA desires that students have teachable hearts and coachable spirits. Students will be presented with the gospel message and Bible teachings in classes, chapels, and in extracurricular activities. Our Christian faith is woven into every aspect of our school. It should be noted that to serve in a leadership position, a student must be trusting in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, and demonstrate an active faith and a growing love for the Lord.
During the admissions process, parents will need to review TKA's Statement of Faith澳门hg0088皇冠 and check one of these statements:
____1. As a Christian parent, I desire that The King’s Academy provide a nurturing Christian environment offering quality, Christ-centered education for this student. This is done in partnership with godly parents, helping to equip the Christian student to become a leader, serving the Creator, his Church and to impact the world for Christ.
____2. i desire that the king’s academy provide an opportunity for students of non-christian families to obtain a quality formal christian education. the student promises to take every opportunity to learn about the christian faith, with the purpose of seriously considering the decision to become a christian. i will cooperate with the king’s academy’s goal for this student to share his/her new faith with his/her family and friends.
Furthermore, parents will need to obtain either a Pastor Reference OR Parent/Guardian Written Statement: Parents/Guardians may submit this Written Statement in place of the Pastoral Reference if there is no Pastoral influence in the student’s life. The written statement asks parents to comment on the following; 1) spiritual goals you have for your student; 2) your desire for your child to receive a formal education that is based on Christian values as found in the Bible and reflected in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ
